10/09/09: Feeling less like a tourist
Lantern -Smurf was shining some light onto the city and took an "off the beaten track" walking tour through St. Petersburg. He visited the largest artist squat in communist time, the oldest and most beautiful train station, a farmers market where he tried some 4 different varietes of honey, walked
along the stories of Dostoyevsky, past Pravda's former print-room where Lenin used to work to the Church of spilled blood. His new friend also gave him lots of useful tips for Moskow and recommendations for tube-stations to visit.
Whilst walking around he also bumped into smurfette, who lived to tell her tales and was
sending them home via the russian post.Bidding farewell Lantern-smurf went to collect his ticket for the overnight train to
Moskow....Moshna by the way means "please, can I, is it ok to? or even excuse me" - so as a magic word it should come in very handy! :)PS: Apparently St. Peterburg is also a hotbed for urban games and especially flashmobs are very popular, so we are told.
