Ian's parents visited us in April for a couple of weeks and Astrid's mum with her friend Maria came in September for a few days following a 2 week China tour. Funnily enough Astrid and her mum almost met in Xi'an as we left on Monday morning and Astrid's mum arrived there on Monday afternoon. It was great having both sets of visitors in town this year to give them a glimpse of what our life on the other side of the globe is like. From what we can tell everyone had a great time and ton's of memorable impressions to take back home.
