19/10/09 - Sokcho

Our first day in the national park (Seoraksan). We walked up for a bit as we had time to spare before our cable car was due to leave for one of the peaks (Mt Gwongeumseong). The view from up there was great and it was extremly windy up there! Tomorrow we are actually walking up somewhere and we will be eating the dried fish we bought at the market today - let's hope its nice :)

From what we have seen so far - South Korea is very different to the North, harldy surprising as it is the fourth largest economy in Asia...
