Time marches on

Hong Kong - 14/11/09 - 06/12/09 - Week 2/3/and/4

We start applying for jobs, checking the papers and continue to explore the island.
One day we walked all the way along the waterfront from Causeway Bay to Central. On another day we went up the peak with the tram and walked down. We discovered the zoo and the botanical gardens, as well as an Austrian restaurant.

One weekend we went to Repulse Bay and we continued or quest to discover more beaches when we took the Dragon's Back walk to Shek'O. Our favourite beach so far is near Stanley.







Astrid undertook the first urbaneer mission in Shau Kei Wan which used to be an old fishing village and became a centre for shipbuilding and temples dedicated to deities of the sea and fisherman



This weekend we went to Lantau Island and took the cable car to the buddah and walked down to toward Shek Pik to meet Richard and little bear. We also got to see some water buffalo's.







Yesterday we checked the night market in Temple Street.



Today we went over to Lamma Island and walked all around it and had some lovely seafood
