Last week must
have undoubtedly been our most social so far - we went out 3 nights in a row :)! We went to the races in Happy Valley for the first time which was really good fun - Ian even won some money.
The other two nights we went to a couple of gallery openings - free drinks, canape's and art - always a great combination!
Over the weekend we undertook our longest and most strenous hike so far - Section 2 on the MacLehose Trail from Pak Tam Au to Sai Wan Village. It took us around 5 hrs all together including a nice Singapore Style noodle dish in Ham Tin. We really liked the hike, but were slightly dissapp
oitned with the dirtyness of the Sai Wan beach. As you can only get to the beaches by foot or boat it was certainly remote, but not really unspoiled as the guide-book claims. Maybe it gets all cleaned up in the summer...
