Redang Chillax

Redang: 27 April 2013 - 1 May 2013

Energy re-charge in Redang, a beautiful island off the coast of Malaysia. It is a little bit of a mission to get there, but once you are there it is well worth it as it must have been one of the most chilled spots we have been too. Private bay, sand so white that it blinds you, water so blue and clear that you can see the sun making patterns on the sandy floor as the light breaks through the water. We went diving and snorkelling and saw pretty tropical fish munching on coral and a turtle. We also got nibbled on by some cheeky fish whilst we where checking out this huge shawl of of fish. Astrid was practising underwater photography and filming with limited success learning that not only the fish move but that it is also almost impossible to hold the camera steady when being bobbed up and down in the waves :)
