Christmas Austria/England 2013/2014
Whilst Astrid had a relaxing time with friends and family in Austria, Ian had to miss his trip to the cricket in Australia due to a sudden health scare. The weather in Austria was stunning, not much snow but blue skies and sunshine all the way. In the UK Ian got to see mainly the insides of hospitals and Doctor's offices. For New Years this time Astrid went up to the chalet with her dad and at midnight they went with snowshoes up to the ridge to shoot some rockets - one can see the fireworks from the whole valley from up there. With regards to Ian's health scare it was luckily something which will heal by itself in the next 6-9 months which was a relief.
